A Leader in Quality and Environmental Management Systems

CTC’s commitment to quality is exemplified by its early participation in the national and international standards-setting organizations and its subsequent ISO 9001:2008 (Quality) and 14001:2004 (Environmental) certifications. CTC was one of the first nonprofit research and development organizations to simultaneously certify to both the ISO 9001 and 14001 international standards, achieving this distinction in 1998. Since that time, CTC has maintained both certifications and all locations conform to ISO practices and procedures.

The following CTC locations hold certifications and recognitions:

ISO 9001:2008 Certification Johnstown, PA
ISO 14001:2004 Certification Johnstown, PA
OSHA VPP STAR Site Recognition Johnstown, PA - STAR status is the highest VPP designation awarded by OSHA and it indicates that a facility has achieved injury and illness rates below its industry’s national average, and has demonstrated to OSHA that its safety and health management systems are exemplary.
CTC is one of approximately 2,400 STAR sites across the country out of the 8 million organizations eligible.  STAR participants commit to a process of continuous safety improvements that will lead to an even safer work environment.

*AS9100: CTC no longer maintains an AS9100 certification; however, CTC’s for-profit affiliate, Enterprise Ventures Corporation (EVC), maintains AS9100 certification for all aerospace activities.
