CTC's Case Management solutions are customized Web-based applications that simplify the tasks of:

  1. Inputting, gathering and assessing case information from multiple data sources
  2. Coordinating activities between different agencies, departments and organizations.

CTC's Case Management solutions leverage the power and flexibility of CTC’s Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF) to implement a secure, centralized architecture that makes case information accessible to the end-user via a consistent and easy-to-understand user interface. The EAF facilitates: (a) implementing a standardized data schema for storing, updating and retrieving case data and (b) coordination activities from timekeeping, calendaring and contact management to conflict checking, reporting, file maintenance and document assembly.

A Department of Interior Success Story

Prior to 2004, the Department of Interior (DOI) GovWorks Invoice Processing Center, was struggling to keep up with an ever-increasing number of paper invoices.  The process was paper-based and labor-intensive. The agency was losing money due to a failure to comply with the Federal Prompt Payment Act. Action needed to be taken.

In 2004, CTC applied the Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF) Case Management Technology to create an E-Invoicing solution for DOI GovWorks. The new application was called GovPay.

GovPay v1 was released to 1786 users. It had become necessary to implement GovPay as a Web-based application because the paper-based process vendors had previously been using was getting bogged down.

Since its deployment, GovPay has processed approximately 9300 invoices with a total gross value of $1.2 billion. GovPay dramatically increased the efficiency of the invoice submission and payment-approval process and facilitated the conversion of over 25,000 annual invoices from paper to electronic—a big step toward the ‘Expanded Electronic Government’ government-wide initiative.

Accolades

CTC’s Web-based Case Management solutions have been and can be applied to any scenario requiring the electronic coordination of different parties on one case. In fact, many clients have already seen increased efficiency in their workflow processes with a CTC Case Management solution. For this accomplishment, CTC has been honored with numerous awards including the prestigious Department of Defense (DoD) Value Engineering Award.

GovPay, an example of a CTC Case Management Solution, was recently recognized by Government Computer News as a technology success story.
