CTC is Awarded Contract by the Department of the Interior

March 8, 2006

Johnstown, PA, March 8, 2006—Daniel R. DeVos, President and CEO of Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) today announced that CTC has been awarded $1.2 million by the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) to provide maintenance and support for the GovPay E-Invoicing System for the DOI GovWorks Center. GovWorks is a federal acquisition center with clients inside and outside of the DOI that processes 2,000 invoices per month for nearly 500 vendors.

In 2004, CTC won the award to build the GovPay application, an automated, Web-based, paper-free e-invoicing system created to address the issues associated with invoices being processed manually by staff at a high cost and decreasing level of effectiveness. GovPay increases the invoice throughput system while reducing costs associated with paper processing. Under this new award, CTC will deliver maintenance and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for all GovPay users, as well as maintain system records and backup data, and provide updates to ensure a continuing high level of performance.

"The fact that CTC was selected to build the GovPay application, and is now selected to develop technical services to support system maintenance and enhancements, including post-production enhancements to GovPay's operational capabilities, is a testament to the DOI's satisfaction and confidence in CTC," said DeVos. "We are particularly pleased with the GovWorks contract because it was awarded as a result of a competitive solicitation and it will keep professional-level jobs in the Johnstown region,"
he added.

George Appley, General Manager at CTC stated, "The GovWorks E-Invoicing System application is another example of a Case Management solution that was successfully built by CTC." He added, "CTC has successfully developed several Case Management solutions for various federal agencies and one of our projects was recently honored with the prestigious Department of Defense Value Engineering Award. This is an important area of business that CTC has had great success with and intends to continue to grow."

"CTC is an independent, nonprofit, applied research and development professional services organization providing management and technology-based solutions to a wide array of clients representing state and federal government as well as the private sector. CTC employs over 1,400 employees at more than 35 locations, including 850 in Johnstown. For more information about CTC, visit www.ctc.com.
