Johnstown, PA, June 1, 2007—JWF Defense Systems (JWFDS) and Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) today announced a strategic partnership to provide joint support to specific programs for Department of Defense (DoD) Ground Support Vehicles (GSV).
JWFDS and CTC have formalized their association that has evolved over the past several years through support that the two companies have provided to DoD prime contractors in the design, manufacture, and testing of advanced prototype tactical vehicles. This strategic partnership joins JWFDS’s extensive manufacturing capabilities and experience in both commercial and defense applications with CTC’s extensive experience in advanced materials and manufacturing processes, product design and analysis, prototype testing, and logistics support services for defense applications.
The two firms have demonstrated the ability to form a partnership that offers prime contractors a turnkey service for the design and manufacture of major components and subsystems for GSV. JWFDS and CTC have previously supported several prime contractors’ vehicle development programs. The collaboration and integration of staff have resulted in a seamless operation that provides the benefit of single-point accountability.
JWFDS and CTC are also looking forward to extending their strategic partnership to a number of emerging opportunities, which will result in the continuing growth of both companies in the greater Johnstown, Pennsylvania area.
