Safely Dispose of Common Household Chemicals

Johnstown, PA April 24, 2023

Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) to Host Cambria County’s Disposal Event

There are at least two reasons to safely dispose of hazardous household products:

1. If you keep these unwanted chemicals in your home, they can catch fire, react, or explode. They could also be corrosive or toxic to people and pets.

2. Disposing wastes improperly can pollute the environment and pose a health threat.

Typical harmful household items include aerosol cans, batteries, household cleaners, paints, etc. The Pennsylvania Resources Council is holding a collection event at CTC:

Cambria County Common Household Chemical Collection
