CTC Safety Professionals Present at Johnstown Safety Conference

Lori Schroth and Brandon Hody presented methods for successfully gauging employees’ perceptions of workplace safety and health culture.

Johnstown, PA October 05, 2018

CTC employees Brandon Hody and Lori Schroth shared their expertise at the 16th Annual Alleghenies Regional Safety Conference in Johnstown on October 2.

Brandon and Lori reprised a presentation they made to the American Society of Safety Professionals Safety 2018 conference in San Antonio, Texas, in June.

Their presentation is titled “Gauging Employee Perceptions Regarding Safety and Health in your Organization.” They shared approaches to developing, distributing, and analyzing the results of a safety perception survey. They elaborated on methods to improve survey completion, correct and communicate survey findings, award employees for their time, and conduct a reassessment.

The Alleghenies Regional Safety Conference was held at the Frank J. Pasquerilla Conference Center and is put on by the Johnstown Area Regional Industries, a non-profit economic development organization for Cambria and Somerset counties.

Other CTC employees in attendance were Tom Monito, Diane Chesnutwood, and Darlene Lewis.
