Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) has presented a 2018 Young Alumni Achievement Award to Brandon Hody, Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) Safety and Occupational Health Professional.

The Young Alumni Achievement Award recognizes recent graduates (less than 15 years) identified as being outstanding in their fields and as having notable career achievements. Every year, the Deans of the six IUP undergraduate colleges choose one outstanding alumnus each to receive this award.

As an award recipient, Brandon engaged with students on campus by networking with those seeking advice in pursuing their careers after college. He also was a guest speaker before two classes of current undergraduate students in the Safety, Health, and Environmental Applied Sciences major. He talked about his career at CTC and his outside activities in the field.

Brandon earned both his undergraduate (2012) and master’s (2015) degrees from IUP.
