We owe our men and women in uniform a huge debt of gratitude for their service and sacrifice. Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) employee Bryan Groves, who also serves with the West Virginia National Guard, appreciates CTC’s support of his military service, and took action to make sure management knows that he is grateful. 

Bryan Groves, Senior Cyber Software Engineer, submitted his line manager, Alan Briggs, Senior Director and Cross Domain Solutions Program Lead, for a Patriotic Employer award from the Office of the Secretary of Defense Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). 

The program recognizes employers for “contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force.”  

At a recent staff meeting in CTC’s Annapolis Junction, Maryland, office, Briggs accepted the award on behalf of CTC and thanked Bryan for his service as well as the company for all it does to support our military employees. 

“This is such an honor to be recognized in this very meaningful way,” said Briggs. “Bryan’s ESGR representative, Bill Peters, shared that less than one percent of the nominees are recognized for this distinguished honor. We appreciate all that our military employees do for our nation, and we are honored by the recognition.”
