Johnstown, PA August 31, 2022

Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is celebrating its 35th year of operation in 2022. The company, first known as Metalworking Technology, Inc., formed on August 28, 1987, to operate the U.S. Navy’s National Center for Excellence in Metalworking Technology. In the years since, CTC has contributed to a wide range of DoD and commercial projects that, at the highest level, are designed to make the world safer and more productive.

CTC has adapted its technologies and focus as the needs of our clients and the nation have changed. We remain on the forefront of innovations in information technology, engineering and manufacturing, and readiness.

In 2000, CTC formed Enterprise Ventures Corporation (EVC), the company’s technology transition affiliate. Together, CTC and EVC research, develop, and produce full lifecycle solutions.

“In the 35 years since we started, the company has led the way through significant technology developments, continually addressing our clients’ evolving needs and providing the best possible results,” said Edward J. Sheehan, Jr., CTC President and CEO. “We are currently achieving growth above our targets for future expansion, and that success is the result of a lot of contributors, especially our employees, who continue to lead the way toward innovative and customized solutions.”

In conjunction with its 35th anniversary, CTC donated $3,500 to the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies to show its appreciation to the Johnstown region and to provide additional resources for the community’s continued growth and development.
